Hi, I'm Dusty.
I work on hands-on IT support and networking projects and use my homelab to deepen my troubleshooting and systems skills.
Experience and learning
My field technician experience includes point-of-sale deployments, routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and site cutovers. I hold CompTIA A+ and am studying for the CCNA.
My labs span Cisco switching and routing, Windows Server and Active Directory, Linux, virtualization, and firewall configuration.
Why this site exists
I use Dusty's IT Space to record what I configured, why it worked, how I verified it, and what I learned when it didn't.
Project examples are lab-based and generalized. Client names, credentials, internal IPs, and nonpublic work-order information are not published.
